Which means it can be pretty easy to miss the sound of someone else around, or the footsteps that trail off and then come again]

[He's just gathering up the prosthetic and strapping it gently to his sword sheath. Then cautiously approaching felix again]

May I... take you to the hospital? You need help and it is dangerous here.

[He pauses for a few long moments, just staring up at Juan, and then nods, somewhat hesitantly.]

[Gently, gentleeeey picking felix up into a one - person carry]

[There's a low sound of pain no matter how gently he picks him up but he doesn't actually protest it.

He's shaking, and his eyes keep darting over to where Shaun is.]

[Softly, like he was almost trying to calm a child.]

He will not wake for some time, you are safe.

[He aaaaaaalmost closes his eyes, but then they pop back open at the last moment.]

...Can we go? Please?

[Yeah, that shaking isn't stopping anytime soon.]

Yes, yes we can.

[Taking him out as carefully as he can, going a bit slow so he won't disturb the wounds as much]

[When they finally clear the labs, his shaking settles down a bit, closer to fine tremors.]

[Note to self, go back and make sure the historian is dead.]

How is the pain?

If I made a stretcher for you, would that be better? Or should I try to find something with wheels?

...Wheels, if you can find it. But...it...doesn't matter. Whatever's easiest.

It matters greatly. I think I saw something down there, and I will return shortly.

[Starting to set him down?]

[Oh, whoops, that sure is his breathing rate increasing A LOT.

[In fact doing just that, keeping felix in his (and himself in felix's) sight.]

[Bet Juan never expected to hear Felix sigh in relief - shaky and unsettled, but still relief.

...Well, he does look...more than slightly ashamed at it. But he's watching Juan, almost intently.]

Nothing...else as bad. He...did hit me over the head, but that was before he...I think if I had a concussion, I'd know by now. Um. He did hit and kick me a few other times....and I was shot, but it was with...birdshot, I think, not a bullet.

[He is definitely not talking about exactly what happened yet.]
