If we're going to boil it down, than yes, I'd say that's a fair approximation of how things went. I'd been digging around too much, and the place reminded me of why that's not the best idea.

Let's just say that I was in hospital for a nice stay, and there are people here from advanced civilizations. I'd go over a few choice moments, but I'd like to tone down the nightmares when I go back to sleep.

Not the zombies precisely, but the people here. It's a nasty mechanic actually, enough of your body gets destroyed and you end up near the closest little fuzzy bear. Not enough, and you just wake up where you were before.

I don't know what to comment on first, that you thought I haven't heard that one before, or that anyone would ruin perfectly good gin with rubbish vermouth, which is all vermouth really.

Which isn't an insult to brandy, at all.

Brandy's not terrible, but I've had far too many batches of it that went too sweet.

Yeah, I'll just do whiskey. Or scotch. Scotch isn't too bad.

The problem with scotch is that charcoal's supposed to filter everything out, not end up as a bit of flavor. It's like they looked at vodka and decided they wanted to be different and pretend to enjoy the taste of the sort of thing you use to start a fire.

It's strong as hell though, which is why the taste doesn't matter after two or three shots.
